Spring Bank Holiday Update

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we have a few Bank Holidays looming and we wanted to remind you to double-check your phone system settings. We want to ensure they accurately represent your business hours for the Spring Bank Holiday.

Upcoming Bank Holidays

Thursday 2nd June 2022 – Spring Bank Holiday
Friday 3rd June 2022 – Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday
Monday 29th August 2022 – Summer Bank Holiday

Closed

If you will be closed on any of the above dates, please make sure your system is ready to switch to Bank Holiday hours and messaging. No caller likes to hear continuous ringing or dead silence!

Open

If you are staying open on any of the Bank Holidays, we recommend that you check that your system does not have any holiday closures or messages programmed in. It’s also a good time to make sure if you have timed settings, they’re all accurate and connect the caller to the right department.

Custom Audio Messages

If you need any audio messages creating to relay your Queen’s Jubilee Closure or the Summer Bank Holiday, please contact us as soon as possible. Raise this request with our audio production team and they’ll be more than happy to help.

Please note, we cannot guarantee your message will be recorded with your regular voice if you place an order after 2pm on Friday the 27th of May 2022. We will still be able to provide urgent custom audio messages after this time. But it may be recorded with alternative voice talent.

Sample Script

“Thank you for your call. We’re now closed for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend. Our usual business hours will resume on Monday the 6th of June 2022. If you leave a message that includes your name, telephone number and reason for calling, we will respond to your enquiry upon our return.”

Already contacted us? If your request has been acknowledged, then you don’t need to take any further action.
