The intelligent Assistant service builds upon the intelligent Number service feature set to improve how teams or individuals access calls. Incoming telephone calls are seamlessly re-routed to nominated individuals or team members when a specific staff member is unavailable. With intelligent Assistant, voicemail becomes the very last option rather than the default.

If an intelligent Assistant user is already in a call or otherwise unavailable, an incoming call can be automatically transferred to a designated individual or team. A ‘whisper transfer’ service informs the call handler who the call is for and why they are not answering in the seconds before the call is taken.
In manager/secretary mode, a secretary can handle calls on behalf of one or more managers, helping the company to maintain a professional communications image.
